British Dean: Things you need to know.

British dean is an online troll who abuse and harasses others on Twitter. I will be doing a short blog here on why you must block and avoid him.

For some time now, I have been reporting Dean – whenever he pops up – under an anonymous account in which I will not disclose to you, for safety reasons. (It’s not my private and very personal account which I have on Twitter, for anyone’s information)

British Dean is Dean Aaron Podesta, an online troll who is known to his local police in the UK, is known for creating multiple accounts to harass people (and adding them to lists, additionally), and in addition to creating new accounts after suspensions. He is extremely racist and bigoted – his constant use of racial slurs in addition to retweeting hateful and abusive content from abusive trolls and Nazis is proof of this. His lists are misogynistic, offensive, homophobic, hateful and obscene, so just be aware of that.

An archive can be found here as a backup.

Additionally, he will likely get his Nazi and troll friends to harass you as well.

What should I do about him if I encounter him on Twitter?

Block and report. As with all trolls and spam accounts, do not interact with him and avoid giving him attention as much as possible. If he adds you to a list, remove yourself from there by blocking him immediately. The same applies to if he retweets your content. Remember, British Dean is one notorious troll who absolutely craves public attention, so the more you feed him that attention, the more he will feel empowered to troll and harass you and others.

As long as you block and report Dean, and avoid him at all costs, you should be safe from him – and his troll friends. I he consistently harasses you, however despite blocking and reporting him, then going to your local police would be a good idea.

It’s time Twitter actually stopped Dean from coming back on the platform. And the local police in Dean’s area could actually do something about him, like banning him from using the internet.

More information on Dean can be found over here.
